The project included the permitting and design of a wastewater treatment facility for the new High School in Hueytown, Alabama. Due to very stringent water quality limits, the design team selected an innovative fixed film treatment process combined with membrane bioreactors (MBR). The treatment system included UV disinfection and produces reuse quality effluent.
